A consumer banking app needs lower density because users access it infrequently and haven't built those models.
The challenge emerges when single products serve both novice and expert users, or when users transition between these states over time. Traditional usability testing often fails to capture this dynamic because it measures initial impressions rather than sustained use patterns.
